It can be intimating to write about your story and put your whole plot into only a few paragraphs.  We offer FREE query letter reviews to help you improve your chances of publishing houses taking a second look at your book.

No matter where you are planning on taking your book in the future, all stories need a developmental edit. This is where your editor will read your manuscript, looking at the overall content. They will leave comments and advice on the story structure, plot, characters, readability, etc. A developmental editor may ask to extend chapters, shorten scenes, rework sentence structure, change names, delete comments, etc. All in hopes of helping your story succeed when it enters the hands of your readers.

When most people think of an editor, they think of a content editor. Their main priority is to look at your manuscript line-by-line, correcting and adjusting spelling, capitalization, grammar, punctuation, etc.

A proofreading service is exactly what it sounds like. ​ After completing the other two stages of edits, an editor will go through your manuscript, making sure everything flows and makes sense. Their main focus will be to make sure your book is publisher-ready in no time.

If you go through ANY of our three editing services, you will automatically receive feedback from our group of beta readers. They will read your manuscript while it is still in the editing stages, leaving constructive criticism on your book's writing, quality, story, and plot. ​ Are you interested in becoming a beta reader? If you go through ANY of our three editing services, you will automatically receive feedback from our group of sensitivity readers. They will read your manuscript, looking for insensitive content that might reference culture, skin tone, sexual identity, personal preference or experience, etc. ​ Are you interested in becoming a sensitivity reader? If you go through ANY of our three editing services, you will automatically receive the opportunity to work with our group of ARC readers. These readers will receive an advance reader's copy of your book, and they will provide a review(s) after publication. ​ If you're looking to self-publish, this is an amazing opportunity for you and your story. ​ Are you interested in becoming an ARC reader?
